UFC welterweight Rick Story calls out Dong Hyun Kim, wants the fight at UFC 139 in San Jose

Rick Story was handed a crushing blow to his momentum in the UFC's welterweight division in June, losing by decision to Charlie Brenneman at UFC on Versus 4 after accepting the fight on a day's notice.

Story was initially slated to face Nate Marquardt, a fight that was a win-win for him on short notice after defeating Thiago Alves in May, but when Marquardt was pulled out of card and released from the UFC, Brenneman stepped up, and Story accepted.

The hard-working wrestler Brenneman out-grappled Story for the first two rounds, and then survived some rough spots in the third to take the decision. The loss brought an end to Story's six-fight winning streak, and immediately halted his ascent into the top of the division.

Now, Story is readying to get back into the cage, and hopes to prove that the loss to Brenneman was a "fluke" by taking out a specific fighter in the division.

"Dong Hyun Kim," Story revealed as the opponent in mind in an interview with MMAJunkie.com. "I think it will solidify that the last fight was kind of a fluke, and it would [rebuild] some of that lost momentum."

"I'd like to do it at UFC 139 on Nov. 19."

The previously unbeaten Kim suffered his first official defeat in the Octagon in July at UFC 132, getting knocked out by Carlos Condit in the first round of their fight. Kim's UFC record now sits at 5-1 with one no contest.

If the UFC books the fight, it would probably take a spot on the main card for the UFC 139 event. That card is expected to take place from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., headlined by a Heavyweight Championship bout between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos.

Penick's Analysis: That's actually a really good fight for both Story and Kim after their losses this summer. They are fringe top ten fighters, and are firmly entrenched in the middle of the pack, and with each making for a good challenge for the other, the fight would be very competitive. I hope this is one fight request from a fighter Joe Silva takes to heart, because it really does make a lot of sense.

UFC 133 Prelims Pulls in 1.4 Million Viewers

Spike TV drew an average audience of 1.4 million viewers for its presentation of this past Saturday's UFC 133 Prelims, says the cable network.

This marked an improvement of 200,000 viewers over UFC 132 Prelims, but 200,000 less compared to UFC 131 Prelims.

The one-hour special, which aired at 8 p.m. ET, earned a 1.0 household rating and was the No. 1 program for the day when it came to men's 18-49. Breaking down the show into quarters, the average viewership came to:

8:00 p.m.: 1,326,000
8:15 p.m.: 1,414,000
8:30 p.m.: 1,436,000
8:45 p.m.: 1,303,000

The UFC 133 Prelims boasted the live broadcasts of a light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson vs. Matt Hamill and a featherweight bout between Chad Mendes vs. Rani Yahya. Gustafsson stopped Hamill in the second round, sending Hamill into retirement, while Mendes held onto his title contender role by extending his undefeated record to 11.

Do Foo Fighters Know Robert Pattinson From Robert Plant?

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the Foo Fighters — set to perform at Sunday's Movie Awards — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Certainly they can recognize a "wand" reference and pinpoint its origin?

Right? Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. But was their underground nerd cred blown to shreds? Read on — and click the video! — to see how the Foo Fighters fared when we caught up with them on the Universal Studios lot, shortly after they finished rehearsing their Movie Awards performance.

Our own Jim Cantiello played dungeon master as Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear were given a series of semi-famous lines and asked whether they originated with "Harry Potter," the "Twilight Saga" or the lyrics of hard-rock pioneers Led Zeppelin.

Here's a sampling of a few of those one-liners:

» "The elder wand, the most powerful wand ever made."

» "Why don't you let me be yours ever truly? Can I make your garden grow?"

» "You're lying, Dolores! You mustn't tell lies!"

Can you guess whether the lines above came from the "Potter" flicks, "Twilight" or Robert Plant?

Watch as the Foos try their best to do exactly that. Then tune in to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to catch the Foo Fighters rock the stage with their new single, "Walk."

Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards? Find out June 5, when the 20th annual show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT that night for the "America's Best Dance Crew" finale and Movie Awards pre-show, loaded with live action from the red carpet, exclusive movie clips and a special edition of "After Hours."
